Pierce Art has opened a new gallery workspace and all Art CAMP sessions are now held at our new location! Students of all ages can now enjoy the experience of painting and drawing on professional easels and we are thrilled to announce that we have a special art room designed specifically for our preschool and kindergarten aged students!
Join Art CAMP and explore the numerous techniques for creating self-expressive artwork. Students will have a blast creating original pieces of art in a variety of visual arts media while developing their technical processes. Each session will include composition, aesthetics, and an introduction to art history. Students will experiment with line, form, space, color and media. Art projects will begin with exposure to the artwork of master painters and will evolve into each student’s own contemporary piece of art. Each session will focus on process details and craftsmanship in a relaxed atmosphere that enhances creativity and eliminates the fear of failure. Art CAMP will nurture the creative spirit and increase artistic confidence.
Art CAMP philosophy is simple… have fun while creating art that uniquely reflects the student’s vision. Art CAMP believes that children of all ages have the ability to draw, paint and create. The creation of art is the practice of capturing a student’s natural creative instincts, it is not an analytical process. Art CAMP provides the time, studio space, instruction and encouragement necessary to develop young artists. Art CAMP enables all to experience the joy of being creative.
