About Us

Adam Pierce, the Art Educator at Arden Middle School and graduate from the California College of Arts with a degree in Fine Art Painting, loves to share his knowledge and experiences as a painter. Teaching with a unique blend of passion, humor and discipline, Adam develops each student’s individual creative talents, and inspires students to view the world through a creative prism.  Adam ignites a passion for painting! One of the most rewarding aspects of Adam’s role is that he connects with his students and the relationship becomes one of mutual respect. In 2007, Adam was selected as Arden Middle School’s teacher of the year.

Adam and his wife, Suzy, met at the California College of Arts, where Suzy earned a BA in Fine Arts in Film, Video and Performance. In addition, she obtained a degree from Fortman Studios in Florence, Italy in Painting and Drawing. Suzy recently left her long-term career in human resources and retail management to return to her love of the arts.

Adam and Suzy have been married for 15 years and both are currently practicing artists. They are also very proud to be the parents of their creative children, Ella and Jonny.
